Memories of Love
Memories of Love is a fanlisting and fansite dedicated to Angela Aki. Production began around September 23, 2006, when I was approved by TheFanlistings for the Angela Aki fanlisting, and was officially opened for buisiness on October 8, 2006.

The Name

The name "Memories of Love" comes from a line in the first chorus of the Japanese version of Kiss Me Good-Bye, "I may have lost you // but the memories of love have made me strong". I was having a bit of trouble finding a name for the site, and I looked through the lyrics of many of the songs on Home, and on the singles, and most of them were about lost love, and love that is ending, and moving on from that (Uchuu, Rain, Love is Over Now, Onegai, etc), so "memories of love" just seemed to fit. :)

The Layout

You are currently looking at the first version of that layout, one that I've had in mind for a very long time, ever since I decided I wanted to make an Angela Aki fansite (even before I was approved for the listing :). I've had the scans from the Kokoro no Senshi single ever since I downloaded it...oh, months ago, and I loved the way Angela posed with her piano, so I thought the layout should be based on that image. I've been trying the perfect the horizontal header div-style layout FOREVER, and I'm actually reasonably pleased with the way this one came out. The right kind of brushes and textures took forever to find, but I was super-happy when I finally found them, and everything just sort of fell into place. I still think the content area is a little blinding, but it works, I guess. I'm especially proud of the headers, though they're less my creation, and more a product of Juuichi's amazing brushes. Anyway, all in all, an ok inaugural layout, ne? ^_^
