Angela The product of a mother of Italian-American descent and Japanese father, Angela was born in September of 1977. Angela began playing the piano at 3 years old, and graduated junior high school in Tokushima prefecture. When she was 15 years old, Angela moved to Hawaii, then attended George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she majored in political science and economics and music. Angela continued performing her music while in college, playing in clubs and live periodically. After the returning to Japan in March 2005, Angela released her debut mini-album 'ONE', which reached #2 on the 2005 annual pop indies chart. In September of the same year, she released her debut single HOME, followed by Kokoro no Senshi in January 2006. In March, her 3rd single, Kiss Me Good-Bye featuring the vocal theme song for the video game Final Fantasy XII, was released, and reached #6 on the Oricon charts. May 31st saw the released of her latest single, This Love, and was followed by her long-awaited first album, Home, on June 14th, which debuted at #2 on the Oricon charts.
